Sorry for the Delay!

Well, we missed a day of the blog, and certainly heard about it. Sorry to those of you who got up early for the latest pictures! We've been busy, David went to work thurs for most of the day, and we've had company.

Noah has been busy as well. Grammy and Grampy were visiting earlier in the week. It was their anniversary this week. They enen helped Noah set up his room! Boy, did we have fun!

Thursday, Nanny and Poppy came to visit...Friday was Poppy's birthday and Noah picked out a special present for him. We've been shopping, eating, and playing, and having such a good time!

Last week, mommy and daddy's friend Tammie came to visit. She helped to make sure Noah will remain the best dressed baby. Check out this Burberry outfit!

Yesterday was a busy day. First we went to BabiesRUs. Noah is becoming a regular. We wish they had frequent flyer points there! Then he go a new CD player at Target. He loved the one his aunt Erin and Uncle Kyle sent but it was using up batteries every 2 days and since Noah loves the Monkey song ("5 little Monkey's Jumping on the Bed)", especially when mommy sings along (ok....actually mommy loves the Monkey song), we bought a new CD player at Target.

Here's one of our first family portraits on our way out to dinner last night. Noah was great at dinner. Stayed in his seat the whole time, looked around, slept, and flirted with the waitressess!

We may not keep up the blog every day, but keep checking. We will keep it updated. Noah is so happy he finally met his grandparents, and told us he can't wait to meet his cousins, aunts, and uncles!

Busy Day

Hope you all are enjoying the blog. The site is becoming harder to work on. The first few nights everything worked so easily. Now it takes such a long time to log on and download images, our entries may be slowing down. Patience still isn't one of David's best attributes.

But his patience is getting better. We were "playing" this morning and waiting for Kathy to get out of the shower--we had an early doctor's appointment--and both of us kind of drifted off.

We all went back to the pediatrician today. Noah got a gold star! His weight is up 6 oz. in 4 days. 1/2 ounce/day is considered enough, and he's been gaining more than 1 ounce/day the last few days. They felt he was doing so well that he didn't have to go back for 2 months as long as he keeps eating and growing!

We did have a little trouble getting to the doctor's office though. We were a little late. David changed a wet diaper at 7:30 when Noah woke up (last ate at 4:30 am). Kathy was feeding him, and changed a poopy diaper at 8:00 and went to shower. After our little nap above, Noah was fussy and had another poopy diaper that David changed. On the way out the door he somehow pee'd all out his diaper and all over his cloths. That's 4 diapers in 1 hours and 2 outfits. So we were a little late getting out the door. Our sisters seem to take some morbid pleasure in our rapid "education", but ......

He did so well with the doctor, that we took him for a treat. We all went to Radnor Valley to have lunch. This was Noah's first trip to the golf course, and all of mommy and daddy's friends there were so excited to see him. We were thankful that they were also all very respectful, and no one asked to touch or hold him. The pediatrician felt Noah could go out if away from crowds, and strangers weren't holding him.

Our cousins Ansel and Ruth sent cowboy longjohns. Look how easy it's going to be to change these diapers!

Well, another day is over. What a great week. David goes to work tomorrow for part of the day, and is not looking forward to it. Next week he'll be back full time, but is really hoping to keep lighter hours and spend more time at home. Kathy has been amazing and will easily manage no matter what.

Bath Time

Noah was up alot through the night, as were mommy and daddy. He needed to be changed a few times, and fed as well. But we're getting much better at understanding his cries...it's just his way of telling us he wants some dry cloths, or more food.

After lunch, Noah had another bath--the big event of the day. He seemed to like it, and looked so handsome afterwards.

We took a family trip to Walmart today. We got a little lost, but ended up ok. Founs what we were looking for, Noah slept in the car, and we all had a fun adventure.

Despite being so tired, we are all so happy together. David is already getting anxious about going back to work next week. Neither of us want to miss anything, and it's been such an incredible week. We just can't get over how comfortable Noah is in our new home. We can't wait for all of you to meet him.

Out on the town

We had fun today. We're starting to understand Noah's different cries...one for "I'm hungry" and another for "I'm wet".

We took a trip today. First we got Noah all settled in his new car seat. He's so tiny he barely fits in, but actually seemed to like it.

We took Kathy to get eyebrows waxed, and all the ladies in the shop (who don't speak great english) all saw Noah through the window and said "Oh....he so cute". Noah and daddy didn't actually go in. Then we all went to Home Goods and bought a little basket and a small box to save cards and notes in.....

David is really turning into Mr. Mom. Kathy's work people bought him a daddy baby bag from California, so he was ready with diapers, vaseline, wipes, changing pad, purell...all worn over the shoulder. Who would have ever believed this one....?

You can see this long day tired everyone out. We're getting ready to go to bed and plan to do it again tomorrow!

What a day!

What a day....look what my I got to wear! My jammies and mommy's jammies are matching--cool, huh?

Today is Sunday...Hey, this football thing is fun. Noah learned how to use the remote control. "Hey Mom? Hey Dad? Where's my beer?

After football, Noah had his first bath. He has a cool little tubby with a kiddie shower. He kind of liked it. He didn't cry at all, and boy, did he look handsome after the bath

He continues to go through cloths like crazy. Not quite sure why mommy and daddy can't get it right, but seems like everytime he pees, he wets through his cloths (and the sheets, and the bedding). Thought he had enough outfits, but thank goodness for the great cloths his cousins Evan and Josh sent him that they don't use anymore.

Finally, we want everyone to know how much Noah loves his daddy. He bought him 2 great presents. The first one on the left here, he had Kathy gave David when he came home from the hospital. Though he bought it for his daddy, David is letting him use it on his pac n play for now. The second present mommy and daddy's friend Tammie brought over for him....she came to visit Noah, but brought daddy this present from Noah (she gave Noah a onsie at Kathy's shower that says "I love my mommy" and everyone wanted to be fair....I think daddy made out better!).

Well, it seems that as long as Noah is eating so well in the middle of the night, we will continue our blog. It's been a long day, and time for everyone to get some sleep.

It's good to be me

I had a tough day today.

First I ate, then took a nap.

Then I watched the Yankees beat up on the Red Sox, then I took a nap.

I ate again, played in my pac-n- play, then I took a nap.

It's good to be me!
