More fun at the shore!

We did lots of other fun stuff at the shore. Check out these handsome devils.....

Grammy took us to see Lucy the Elephant in Margate. Only Josh, Evan, Aunt Erin and Grampy were brave enough to climb up inside (we think you can see Evan's head up there, but it might be Erin),

but it was fun to see and run around, and we took some good pictures.
We had one gray morning, but still had fun. We went to the "Children's museum" about 15 min away, and it turned out to be really fun. First we saw a scary octopus
Then Noah and David played basketball. Noah won!Noah and Josh formed the beginnings of a LOUD rock band...and Evan and Kyle were getting ready to put out any fire! But then it was back to the beach once the weather cleared. We had all sorts of things to play with. We had rockets...
and airplanes (to crash...)a whole wagon full of toys,
and big holes to dig.

And by the end of the day, the sun was setting, and everyone gets tired.

And it was time to make our way back the house.

It was a great vacation with our family. Everyone had a great time...but after days like this, everyone was pretty tired!

At The Arcade

We did a lot more fun things at the shore than just go to the beach! Noah loved going to the Boardwalk and going to the arcades. After the first time we went, every morning he would wake up and say "I go boardwalk. I play games." He loved playing in the arcade. He loved the flashing lights, and sounds...and loved putting the money in the slots! This was one of our favorites (can you read the screen? Good thing Noah couldn't read the top part that says "Parental Advisory"!And Star Wars! And Sponge Bob!

Check out this short (sideways!) video!

And this one is in his genes. He didn't realize his dad spent half his childhood playing this one!
And you can't go to the boardwalk without playing Skeeball. Noah was GREAT at the game,
though it wasn't all because of his early athletic skill: he cheats. And he had a little help with the basketball game as well. And, well.....he didn't play Air Hockey completely fair either.
We spent more time at the boardwalk, and at the arcade....but no one brought a camera to the amusement park. And the Porter's camera broke (died!).
But more fun pictures from the beach are coming, so keep checking Noah's blog!

Ocean City 2008

We spent a fun week "down the shore" in Ocean City last week. This was Noah's second year at the beach, and he just had a ball. We went with Evan and Josh, Aunt Erin, Uncle Kyle and Grammy and Grampy. From the minute we got there, Noah was just headed straight to the water and just loved the beach and ocean. The first day we got there, we just put him on the sand, and..........zoom! Off he went. Check out this little video and if you have time, go back and look at the blog from August 2, 2007 to see the difference a year makes!

The water was cold and this first day took some getting used to. So we came back to the house, and Noah and Grampy just hung out on the balcony and chatted for a while.
That was a funny story!!

And Noah was just thinking..."I can't wait to get back to the beach!"

Sleep was a big issue during this trip. The Pack-n-Play was no match for this little monkey. The first day we got there, we put Noah down for a nap and within seconds, there he was running down the hallway....he could easily pop right out of it. He would just swing his foot over, climb up, turn around and let himself down. Well naps and sleep were a bit of a game, and Noah was tired the first few days, and slept in lots of places that weren't his bed!
But despite the sleep issues, Noah had a great time, and loved being with his cousins. He was one of the big boys! At the table.....
And at the beach!
But we couldn't spend all the time on the beach. There is a great playground in Ocean City that all the little boys loved! (C'mon! Keep up mom!!!!!!)
Well...there was lots more fun. Stay tuned for more updates! We spent lots more time at the beach......and had a ball on the boardwalk! More fun pictures will come over the next few days....
