Cars and Snowmen

Today was a busy day. Noah is learning more and more every day. He was trying to drive his car, and got cut off (ok...by his mom, but still...). Someone had told him that when you get cut off like that, give the person the finger....he just hasn't learned the details yet.
He is growing into a real little boy--last week we were in Starbucks, and he grabbed one of the cardboard cup holders and before you knew it, had a nice paper cut across his lip. Today we were in Toys-R-Us (that was fun!). Noah grabbed the coupon flier from Mom and before she could grab it back, he rubbed it right across his nose leaving a nice paper cut as you can see! Didn't seem to hurt though. No more paper for Noah!

Noah is sitting up for longer and longer, and now he's starting to drive! As you saw in the first picture above, and in this picture, he takes his driving very seriously. Just don't get in his way. You'll also notice that this kid's a 2 car family all by himself!
What a good day we had. We rode in cars, went to Toys-R-Us, bought a new train (and diapers and wipes and detergent and a Wiggles CD). We also bought rubber pads to go under Noah's pool. We were thinking about summer, but there's still snow melting, so when we got home, Noah and Mommy and Daddy built Noah's first snow man! He too is a Yankee fan. He didn't have "two eyes made of out coal", but rather had eyes from the Irish part of the family (those nice blue eyes!).

But spring is coming, the grass at Crum Creek is starting to look green, Noah's snow man melted and fell down before the day was over....pretty soon we'll be planting flowers and running around the back yard. Can't wait to see everyone!

Mr. Snowman is waving hello to everyone, but Noah and the Snowman sends a big Happy Birthday to Nanny and Uncle Kyle, and a big "GET WELL SOON" to cousin Evan...he just had a little surgery--but he's so tough he's already better and doesn't need any more medicine!

Bye to all...come visit soon!

Little Baby to Little Boy

Well, the past week has been incredible. Most of you have seen this, but all of the sudden baby Noah is little boy Noah!!

He's crawling ever so slightly. He's talking more and more. Today we went to the book store and bought all sorts of fun books to read. Then we (Noah) had lunch at Starbucks. The caffeine kept him up from his nap though. He is passing things from his left hand to his right hand (Kathy will explain this one!).

He's playing with everything all of the sudden. One of his favorite toys is the Bert and Ernie Giggle Ball that his cousins Evan and Josh (and aunt Erin and uncle Kyle) sent this Christmas (he also still likes his red socks!). What's a "giggle ball" you ask? Everyone needs a giggle ball......

Meal time has gotten very serious--no messin' around with Noah's food! Here he is just about to eat Pears for the very first time. He's not only eating squash and sweet potatoes and carrots and peas and green beans and pears and peaches...sometimes he eats keys and balls and bears and fingers.....

He is sitting up (though you wouldn't know it from the picture above) on his own for longer and longer (but still loves turning over and over). But for now, Noah's taking his bike and heading out for a bit..... we'll keep you all updated. Come visit soon!

Love, Noah and family

More From Marco

Well, we're all still recovering from our trip to Marco Island. We're still waiting for the photographer to send the pictures. All we can be sure of is everyone will look cold. But we have some pictures of our own. Who looks the coldest here?
And Kathy calls this one "Mini-Me"!
No one told me here that we were supposed to be making funny faces!!
Here Noah was bestowing his blessing on auntie Marci:
Did we mention it was cold on Marco Island?
Taking pictures was hard all weekend. Only Benjamin knows enough to look at the camera!
And here, everyone forgot to tell Mommy she needed to be wearing a cooler shirt like the boys!

But we all had such a great time and can't wait to see everyone real soon.

Since being home, Noah is changing faster than ever. Every day he does something totally new. Stay tuned for the next blog for more updates! Love to all.........
