Marco Island, 6 month doctor's visit, and more
So much has happened since we last checked in with a blog! Today Noah went to see Dr Allen for his 6 month check up. He weighs 17 lbs 13 oz, and is 27 inches tall (long). That puts him exactly in the 50th percentile of weight and 75th percentile for height! The visit was going well until Dr Allen went to examine Noah, and the little guy pee'd all over her (and the floor and the exam table!). Daddy laughed out loud...she should know better! Hopefully he's still welcome in the office in 3 months.
Last week Noah went in an airplane for the first time and went to Marco Island. The plane was late, but not as late as Uncle Jimmy and cousin Max's (they were on the Jet Blue plane and spent more than 10 hours on the runway and 24 hrs trying to get to Florida! But Noah and daddy spent some time playing on the floor in the airport to pass the time. It's nice that the carpets in the airport are kept so clean.
Noah certainly got alot of attention. Marci liked to remind him she's his "favorite auntie Marci" (not "favorite auntie", but favorite auntie "Marci"...she picks her words quite carefully!)
But even with all the other attention, Noah still got to spend some time with Mommy.
Although he did have to fight her to see who could have the Pacifier.
One day, Noah went with Auntie Marci, Cousin Sarah and his parents to the Flea Market. He was one cool dude:
Noah got to play with Uncle Jimmy too. This looks like they were having fun
And everyone has at least one crazy uncle...it just might be uncle Peter
On Friday night, we all went to have our pictures taken. IT WAS COLD! Not even Max could keep Noah warm
But Noah is no dummy. It had to be 40 degrees and the wind was blowing like crazy. Look at all these silly people without a coat. Noah was at least smart enough to wrap up in a blanket!
There is much more to write about, but it's getting late. Keep checking and we'll fill in more. But you can see it was a busy few days. The airplane ride on the way home was fun, and a good time to catch up on sleep. We'll write more soon, and there are lots more pictures!
Noah's cousins were so happy to see him. Cousin Samantha had lots of fun things to teach Noah, like how to eat your toes!
And Benjamin was so excited to show Noah how to go swimming. It was a shame it was much too cold, but these two cousins and friends had a great time anyhow.
