Changes (and not just diapers)

Noah is changing and growing faster than ever! He now likes to pick out his own clothes every morning. David thought he loved this outfit more than any other:

Until last week, when he had the absolute BIGGEST poop of his life, saturated the diaper, up out the back covered the shirt so that we were looking for a pair of scissors to cut it off him! We thought it was a fluke, but then he did it again the very next time he wore this shirt. Now David takes it very personally and is very insulted.

Now were in trouble. Two weeks ago we heard Noah talking in his crib and found him like this at 7 am! All of the sudden he loves sleeping on his side and and tummy. Put him down on his back and his whips himself over. We had him in his play hut one morning, turned away and within minutes he was half way across the floor....We're entering a whole new world!

But he's not quite ready for a "big boy bed" . (This picture was taken when Noah wasn't feeling well...you can see "Doctor Duck" keeping a close eye on him).

Another BIG milestone....Noah is eating food! Well...we use the term "eating" loosely. He takes the rice, but isn't yet quite sure what to do with it. It must be working, since he's been sleeping much better (sometimes) through the night.

And did anyone notice all that hair?? Noah is talking more and playing with all his new toys. We are little worried since it seems his favorite is his "excersaucer" so he can play his slot machine!

We might have a problem on our hands. We're afraid his first "real words" will be "Foxwoods please".

We're planning on doing errands today as a family. We going to The Dump! (don't ask!). Keep checking on us....by next week Noah may be writing his own blogs!

Noah's first Chanuka

Well, we made the drive back to Connecticut last weekend for Chanuka. The traffic was almost as bad as Thanksgiving! But there was much less pooping and peeing and crying in the car, so the trip seemed a bit (but only a bit easier!).

By now, you've all seen Noah's holiday card. He sends everyone warm wishes!

We had a ball on Chanuka. A couple of Yankee fans got to hang out together!

You can see the Borges girls kept Noah quite entertained!

The party was great, and Noah got so many great toys. He's pretty sure his Nanny won't like this picture, but we thought it was adorable!

Look! Cousin Samantha had 2 dolls to play with! Her daddy had to explain that Poppy got to play with one, and Samantha got to play with one:

Noah has great manners, even at his young age. See--no elbows on the table!

Noah was ready to keep going:

But it was a late night,we all had such a great time, and afterwards, everyone was tired. Auntie Marci seemed to have the magic touch.

The next day we were back on the road. Made our first stop in Danbury to change the first diaper and fill up on Starbucks. Luckily we had good company!

We got back home in time to light the candles for the first time in our new home. Noah had his own little menorah that we got to light everynight, and wishes everyone a bright and very happy holiday!!!!
