Halloween 2008

Halloween was right around the corner! You saw our visit to Pumpkinland to pick out pumpkins...now see what we did with them. Noah thought sticking his hand inside a pumpkin was kind of yicky, so he just watched as mommy and daddy carved pumpkins. But he thought they were silly! (looks like he's wearing a plan for a wig here, doesn't it?)

Then later, mommy and Noah made scary cookies! Witches, pumpkins, cats and bats...all with chocolate chips!! how fun!

Radnor Valley had a halloween party. We've never been, but took Noah this year. Noah was "Mumbles" from Happy Feet (the movie), and was the cutest little penguin you've ever seen! It was a blast. The Women's locker room was turned into a haunted house, but Noah wasn't so sure he like it. But as soon as he saw allnthe other little kids in their costumes he started to have a ball.

And then it was halloween. Down the road from us is a nice neighborhood along Jamestown Road. Every year they have a party and "parade". All the kids gather at one house, they have hot dogs and treats, a costume competition, and then all the kids follow the same route for trick or treat. All the neighbors give out candy from the end of their drive way. Check out our little penguin with his friend Joseph...batman and Penquin!!

Check out the party on this video!

Baby Gianna was dressed up like DorothyShe's a little forward, don't you think

Another Halloween tradition is to go to Elda's house. She's had a special treat for Noah every year now (all 3!). Look what he got this year.....Mr Potato Head! (actually he was a little scared of him at first, but by the end of the night, they were great friends!)

What a great time we had, complete with grilled cheese from Mrs Marty's after trick or treat, another tradition in our house!

Well, the next day it was on to Puerto Rico. The next blog will be from the beach!!
