Happy Thanksgiving, 07!

This is Noah's second thanksgiving, and this year we stayed home on Crum Creek Road. We reminded Noah of our trip last year to Danbury... in the driving cold rain and lots of trafic and how he had too many poops and spit ups in the car and had to change his clothes 3 times during the 7 hour drive. Noah thought that was funny!
P.S...Gooooo Giants!

This year, auntie Erin, Uncle Kyle and cousins Evan and Josh came to stay with us for a few days. Evan and Noah were having a little stand-off... Looks like the road was closed..."hey kid, you going to leave the road or what?!"

Then we had Thanksgiving dinner. Noah's greatgrandma and great granddaddy came too and that was special. Noah helped ring the gong (with Aunt Erin and Cousin Jenny)..."dinner is served"..
Most of the fun was at the kids table!
The weather was gorgeous on Thanksgiving and we all had a ball playing outside! Everyone got to romp in the leaves! Noah, Evan and Josh all got to play in the big leaf pile...check out the little video, we call "Leaves me alone!"

Then the next day (Friday) we all went to Dutch Wonderland after dinner. They have lots of lights to look. It was a lot of fun, but boy, was it cold. Good thing everyone was all bundled up!
Happy Thanksgiving, from all of us....

Football, Music, Walking...It's just beginning!

Hi everyone. It's been a little while. We haven't kept up well with Noah's blog, but we've sure been busy. Last weekend was a big football weekend. The Giants were on TV late and played the Cowboys and it was a close game. Noah gets really excited when the Giants score a "TOUCHDOWN"! (Notice they were on late around bedtime.....) Gooooo Giants!

Here's our little Brown Bear. When we were in Providence, we went to the Brown Bookstore, and Noah got a nice new fleece coat that says "Brown University" for the cold weather....check out the ears!
Stories every night before bedtime. You can tell Noah listens to mommy's stories very intently.......(I guess that makes up for Daddy!)And after story time, comes music time. Noah learned how to play his recorder, so now he plays drums, recorder and piano....
We went to see Dr. Allen this week. It was Noah's 15 month check up. He was so good in the office. He got 4 shots, 2 in each leg, and they must have hurt, but after 2 minutes he was up and running! He weighs almost 24 pounds and is "half a mommy" tall (2 ft, 7 inches). He's almost 70th percentile for height, and 40th for weight. Tall and thin.......

And we think you all know, but our little "baby" is all done with crawling. He walks everywhere! Still falls a lot, but less and less. Just like we all need to know not to drink and drive, we need to teach Noah not to drink and walk! Here's a short little video of what happens....
