Summer is ending...

Where did we leave off? Well, Noah had just had a birthday, but since then we've been really busy! At the end of August, Max came to visit on the way to his second year in college! Instant buddies!
Hey...what did you do with my shirt??
Noah has become sillier and sillier as he gets older! Yes, that's the lamp shade, and honestly, he wasn't drunk!
At the end of August, the Tyler Arboretum had a tree house exhibit...we got to hike to a whole bunch of different tree houses. Do you see David and Noah, as Noah said, "up in the trees"?
Or up in the Elephant tree house with mommy?Kathy and Noah had a chance to go back to the Zoo before the summer was over. He was much happier on this trip. He found some really cool rocks!

And Noah and Brendan really loved the tractor at the petting zoo!The next weekend Grammy and Grampy took us to feed the ducks!

And we climbed on the caboose in the Park at Lititz!

But summer isn't just for playing. Everyone has to pitch in and do their chores, and as the saying goes (even at 2 years old), "ALL PLAY AND NO WORK MAKES....." (or something like that; maybe it's a little backwards). So Noah has to pitch in and do his chores too. Check out our little video.

So no free loading in our house.

For the last few weeks, whenever David comes home after work, most of the time Noah will walk slowly over to the door and give him a big hug around the legs. It is close to the best part of the day, and when I don't get a hug, I tell Noah I feel "gypped".

And just like that, summer was over. The weather is getting colder, it's getting darker earlier and earlier, Noah is growing and growing, and we're doing new things all the time. More to come soon!
