HOME!

Well....we all made it home today! Noah is eating like a star, his blood sugar has been great, his weight up, and he'll see his new doctor for the first time tomorrow morning. He's just becoming aware of the world but we did try and explain the significance of the Yankee:Red Sox game today -- the Yankees crushed the Sox and already he is almost yelling "Go Yankees!"
Notice his special "going home" outfit. Anybody see the pattern? This guy dresses in style...Neiman Marcus' Noah's Ark Collection!

We think Noah likes his new home. But things are different than in the hospital. When we got home, we all had some quality time alone without the nurses interrupting. It's amazing how fast they actually LEARN! (And I think Noah is probably learning things as well! ). For our part, here are some things we've already learned being home less than 12 hours. Though many people tried to tell us some of this, it doesn't mean as much till you have to do it yourself:
1. Now we get what you do with a "Boppy"
2. You eat when you can, not when you want.
3. What happens when you use a diaper that's too big.
4. How 1 kid who barely opens his eyes, can't talk, doesn't walk, can't spend money, doesn't go shopping, doesn't talk on the phone, but yet causes such a mess in the house!
Look at this picture 20 minutes after he got home!5. Batteries are expensive.
6. Why you need more than 3 onsies...a little poop and spit up go a long way!
7. Probably didn't need the fancy fabric on the glider we're using for feeding...as I said, a little poop and spit up go a long way!
I'm sure mommy, daddy and son will be learning all sorts of great things together over the next few months!
Noah is looking forward to you all coming to visit!
