Another week goes by....

Another week has passed. Noah is now 2 1/2 months old. We can't get over how fast he is growing and changing. He went to see Dr. Allen this week. He weighed 11 lb 15 oz (after 2 big poops, so this was really his "dry weight"!). He is 23 inches, and in the 40th percentile of height and weight! No wonder he looks like this.... What a day it was. Noah got 4 shots, 2 in each leg (DTP, combovax (HepB, Hib)), Polio, pneumovax) and oral rotovirus vaccine...It clearly was harder on his mom and dad. He was such a good boy through it all.
Noah spends alot of time lounging around. One of his favorite things is to hang out in mommy and daddy's room and watch mommy fold laundry.....
Noah is starting to smile more and more, though we can't always catch it on camera. But he's got a real personality....here he greets his daddy coming home from work
Here he explains to his mommy that he is still hungry and would she PLEASE let him keep eating...
His new favorite thing is to hang out in his swing. He absolutely loves it. This is what he looks like after 10 minutes in his swing! We also went to Toys R Us yesterday, and Noah wants to introduce everyone to his new little friend (the guy insisted on gettiing in on the pictures!).
Today is Sunday, and you all know what Sunday is in the Porter house...FOOTBALL! You can see here that daddy and Noah spent a good part of the afternoon watching football!
The big news this week is that we hired a nanny, instead of taking Noah to the K'tonton day care. At least for now, it made much more sense. Noah's nanny (not to be confused with Nanny) is named Nicole, and they get along great already.
Keep checking in on us. We already have the next blog in the works for the next day or two!
